The Banshee-UHF Complex is designed to suppress control and communication channels with fixed operating frequencies of any kind of modulation and salutatory variable frequencies within the UHF range by setting targets by frequency/time and intermittent radio interference.In the controlled area throughout the frequency range, simultaneous effective suppression of up to 80 lines of radio communication with the UHF, or up to 6 networks with FHSS at depths up to 10 km is provided.

The interference complex is an effective tool that allows to solve a spectrum of tasks of radio intelligence and electronic warfare. This task is fulfilled by emitting radio interference throughout the frequency range where it is possible to use the specified communication lines.
